  • Calibration Technician – 2nd shift

    Due to our continued and ongoing growth, Moeller Aerospace has an open position for an experienced Calibration Technician for second shift (4:30 PM – 3:00 AM). The position requires three years minimum of previous experience in the repair, calibration and maintenance of mechanical and dimensional measuring & test equipment (M&TE) used in the inspection of precision aerospace machined components. Responsible for the daily operation of the assigned calibration area to provide timely and accurate service to its internal customers and service providers.

  • CNC Machinists (2nd shift) – Wixom, MI

    We have multiple openings for experienced machinists to operate various CNC machines on our second shift (4:30 PM – 3:00 AM). Minimum of 3 years of experience preferred in a precision machining environment operating advanced CNC equipment.

  • CNC Manufacturing Supervisor (2nd shift) – Wixom, MI

    We have an opening for a second shift CNC Manufacturing Supervisor. Must have a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a precision CNC machining environment (not plastic injection molding, stamping, etc.).

  • CNC Tool Setter (Zoeller System)

    Due to our continued and ongoing growth, Moeller Aerospace has a new position for a Tool Setter. The position requires at least two years of experience setting cutting tools in a precision machining environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently, be highly organized with a proven capacity to multi-task, exhibit excellent customer service skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, be computer literate, and have a professional demeanor with the ability to keep a cool head in stressful situations.

  • Final Inspectors

    Due to our continued and ongoing growth, Moeller Aerospace has available positions for experienced Final Inspectors. The position requires 3 years minimum of previous experience in a precision metalworking machining (not plastic injection molding) environment inspecting machined parts. A working knowledge of GD&T per ANSI Y14.5 is required as is familiarity with typical measuring equipment such as micrometers, profilometers, comparators, bore and thread gages, etc. Experience with CMMs is a plus.

  • FPI Technician, Level II – 2nd shift

    Due to our continued and ongoing growth, Moeller Aerospace has open positions for experienced Fluorescent Penetrant Inspectors (FPI) for second shift (4:30 PM – 3:00 AM. The position requires 3 years minimum of previous experience with reviewing parts under a currently-active Level II certification and will have NAS 410 training documents to verify such certification.

  • Lead Quality Systems Auditor

    Working without significant direction, provides leadership to the company in maintaining a compliant Quality Management System by applying an advanced level of understanding of international regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g. ISO, AS).

  • Lean Manufacturing Manager – Wixom, MI

    The Lean Manufacturing Manager role is responsible for leading and participating in the implementation of lean philosophy to increase the overall effectiveness of the company operations. Serve as an Ambassador to the organization in support of a culture of Continuous Quality Improvement. Ensures that existing processes maintain a high level of performance and continuously reviews and refines those processes to make additional improvements for greater efficiency. This will be achieved through the development of procedures to improve quality, maximize throughput, and reduce overall expenses. This is a hands-on position and requires a high level of collaboration across the organization.

  • Production Control – Supplier Coordinator

    Due to increased business, we are seeking to add a new position of Production Control – Supplier Coordinator to our team that deals strictly with outside suppliers. This hands-on position is Interfacing with personnel from various departments on material status and production planning issues will be required. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment dealing specifically with external resource follow up is required.

  • Quality Engineer – Aerospace

    We have a need for an additional Quality Engineer within our Quality Department. The position requires an organized individual to work in a fast-paced, customer-driven work environment. Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications required. We are seeking a team player with a focus on continuous improvement opportunities. The individual shall also be responsible for assisting and working with others in assuring quality of product.

  • Quality Systems Manager

    The Quality Systems Manager is Responsible for developing the Quality strategy, policies, processes, standards and systems for the Company to operate within. This may include auditing to ensure compliance although this may be carried out by a third-party accredited body.

  • Quality Technician

    Due to our ongoing growth, we have an opening for a Quality Technician to support the Quality Department. The position requires a minimum of three years of previous experience with auditing Quality and Production processes to ensure compliance with customer requirements.

  • Value Stream Manager – Wixom, MI

    Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Value Stream Manager will manage a focused factory within the plant operations. The Value Stream Manager is fully responsibility for the focused factory. The role is expected to meet and exceed customer satisfaction expectations (quality & delivery), employee satisfaction expectations (safety & morale), and profile & loss expectations. The Value Stream Managers also expected to resolve issues in a timely manner and effectively develop the organization. Reporting to role will include supervisors, hourly operators and support from engineering, quality, maintenance and program management functions.

    Due to our continued and ongoing growth, we have multiple openings for experienced machinists to operate our CNC equipment. Three years of experience preferred in a precision machining environment operating advanced CNC equipment, but not required.

  • Inspection Personnel – Harbor Springs, MI

    Due to our continued and ongoing growth, Moeller Aerospace has available positions for Inspector Personnel. Previous experience in inspection is preferred but is not required. Experience with the following measuring equipment including micrometers, surfometers, comparators, bore gages, thread gages and CMMs is a plus.

  • Lean Manufacturing Manager – Harbor Springs, MI

As the program manager, the scope of the job is to plan, oversee and manage all aspects of the specific project to ensure a successful, on-time, on-budget, high quality program that meets the needs of customer and company.

Careers Program Manager – Harbor Springs

Moeller Aerospace is a manufacturing facility specializing in precision-machined parts for the gas turbine aircraft engine and power generation industries. Our headquarters is located in Wixom, Michigan and is responsible for all customer support including design, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and customer shipments.

This position with their assigned support team directs and manages both new and legacy part jobs with primary emphasis on New Product Introduction (NPI) programs and projects. The individual is responsible for the overall direction, communication, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects that is consistent with company strategy, commitments and goals. As the program manager, the scope of the job is to plan, oversee and manage all aspects of the specific project to ensure a successful, on-time, on-budget, high quality program that meets the needs of customer and company.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Serve as the liaison between the company and customer for all program matter and is the key customer contact during the NPI process
• Obtain all customer program requirements, targets and dates
• Lead the planning and implementation of project and direct their support team
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
• Define project tasks and resource requirements
• Develop full scale project plans and provide all aspects of customer support as required
• Lead the cross functional team to ensure customer milestones are met, manage open issues, clear roadblocks and raise major program issues to appropriate senior management internally as well as the customer
• Ensure program costs meet financial targets prior to launch
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
• Provide direction and support to their assigned project team
• Support quality assurance initiatives
• Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
• Implement and manage project changes to achieve project goals
• Provide program closure lesson learned document with assessment of results for future projects
• Responsible for training the program team on procedures and processes as well as enhancing the NPI program structure

Education / Experience:
• Bachelor degree in Engineering or Business is required. PMI certification is a plus
• Minimum 5 years work experience in Sales or Engineering environment with significant customer contact, including supervisory experience; experience with aerospace OE or supplier is preferred
• Significant customer contact requires the ability to foster and maintain positive internal and external relationships
• Must have highly developed organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, handle multiple project simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
• Knowledge of project management techniques and tools including risk and change management
• Proficient in project management software (MS Project, Word, Excel)
