  • Calibration Technician – 2nd shift

    Due to our continued and ongoing growth, Moeller Aerospace has an open position for an experienced Calibration Technician for second shift (4:30 PM – 3:00 AM). The position requires three years minimum of previous experience in the repair, calibration and maintenance of mechanical and dimensional measuring & test equipment (M&TE) used in the inspection of precision aerospace machined components. Responsible for the daily operation of the assigned calibration area to provide timely and accurate service to its internal customers and service providers.

  • CNC Machinists (2nd shift) with $3-5k signing bonus (after 90 days)

    We have multiple openings for experienced machinists to operate various CNC machines on our second shift (4:30 PM – 3:00 AM). Minimum of 3 years of experience required in a precision machining environment (not stamping, injection mold, etc.) operating advanced CNC equipment. We offer a signing bonus of $3,000 – $5,000 after 90 days based on skill set and experience and is for direct hires only (not referred by a recruiter).

  • CNC Machinist Trainees, 2nd shift, $15 per hour

    Due to our continued and unprecedented growth, we have multiple openings for mechanically inclined people that are interested in learning a skilled trade. Some CNC machining experience is preferred, but not required, for these entry-level positions. We are ready for the right candidates to begin training on various types CNC machines on our second shift (4:30 PM – 3:00 AM).

  • CNC Tool Setter (Zoeller System)

    Due to our continued and ongoing growth, Moeller Aerospace has a new position for a Tool Setter. The position requires at least two years of experience setting cutting tools in a precision machining environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently, be highly organized with a proven capacity to multi-task, exhibit excellent customer service skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, be computer literate, and have a professional demeanor with the ability to keep a cool head in stressful situations.

  • Final Inspectors

    Due to our continued and ongoing growth, Moeller Aerospace has available positions for experienced Final Inspectors. The position requires 3 years minimum of previous experience in a precision metalworking machining (not plastic injection molding) environment inspecting machined parts. A working knowledge of GD&T per ANSI Y14.5 is required as is familiarity with typical measuring equipment such as micrometers, profilometers, comparators, bore and thread gages, etc. Experience with CMMs is a plus.

  • Production Coordinator/Scheduler

    Due to increased business, we are seeking to add an additional Production Coordinator to our team. This hands-on position is responsible for monitoring, facilitating and expediting the day-to-day flow of parts through all phases of the production process, including both internal and outside supplier operations. Interfacing with personnel from various departments on material status and production planning issues will be required. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, and accuracy with attention to detail is a primary focus of this position.

  • Manufacturing Supervisors (1st and 3rd shifts)

    We have opening for both first shift (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM) and third shift (7:00 PM – 5:30 AM) for Manufacturing Supervisors. Must have a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a precision CNC machining environment (not plastic injection molding, stamping, etc.).

  • CNC Machinists – Harbor Springs, MI

    Due to our continued and ongoing growth, we have multiple openings for experienced machinists to operate our CNC equipment. Three years of experience preferred in a precision machining environment operating advanced CNC equipment, but not required.

  • Inspection Personnel – Harbor Springs, MI

    Due to our continued and ongoing growth, Moeller Aerospace has available positions for Inspector Personnel. Previous experience in inspection is preferred but is not required. Experience with the following measuring equipment including micrometers, surfometers, comparators, bore gages, thread gages and CMMs is a plus.

  • Manufacturing Engineer – Harbor Springs, MI

    Due to our continued and ongoing growth, Moeller Aerospace has available positions for experienced Manufacturing Engineers. These individuals develop and improve turbine engine component machining and assembly processes by studying existing product and manufacturing methods.

Careers CNC Tool Setter (Zoeller System)

Moeller Aerospace is a manufacturing facility specializing in precision-machined parts for the gas turbine aircraft engine and power generation industries. Our headquarters is located in Wixom, Michigan and is responsible for all customer support including design, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and customer shipments.

Due to our continued and ongoing growth, Moeller Aerospace has a new position for a Tool Setter. The position requires at least two years of experience setting cutting tools in a precision machining environment. Essential job duties and Responsibilities include:
• Set-up tooling per set-up sheet and deliver to appropriate machine as well as assist machinists and other employees as needed to dispense tooling and tooling accessories.
• Collect tooling from completed jobs, tear down and sort tooling and place in appropriate location.
• Communicate between vendors and coworkers to maintain continuity between shifts and proper inventory levels of tooling
• Ensure tool lengths correspond to offset register. Have full working knowledge of Zoeller tool pre-setter
• Issues tools and equipment to Plant floor and maintains records of tools and equipment issued and returned using computer
• Track tooling issues
• Anticipate tooling needs according to schedule and assemble tooling kit(s) for upcoming setups
• Work with Tool Crib Lead to initiate ordering of tools and inserts for machining centers
• Keeps tool setting area clean and organized for easy locating of parts and supplies

Skills/Qualifications:
• Previous experience using Zoeller Tool setting technology is a plus
• Must have 2 or more years’ experience in parts management and inventory control
• Good working knowledge of all pertinent manufacturing procedures: inspection, manufacturing operations, tooling instructions and safety
• Ability to solve broad scope of problems.

We are seeking team players with a focus on continuous improvement opportunities. Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality systems, advanced quality assurance techniques, and/or aerospace work would be a definite asset. Other duties may be assigned.
